About This Game Terroir is a 3D tile-based tycoon game where you manage your very own vineyard. In Terroir, you grow a variety of different grape varietals, craft your wine, and expand and manage your Estate. You'll also have to deal with factors such as weather and random events, which can either make or break your business.FeaturesSome of the game's features and mechanics include: Choose from a selection of different grape varieties, each with their own demands. There is an overlay of random text across the screen, and I can't get a refund because I have had the game for more than 2 weeks. Extremely disappointing.. the dark souls of wine games. Really enjoyable management game. I've really enjoyed my playtime. It is a pretty fiddly game to get dialed in, but I'm happy with the level of challenge.. This is a delightful little game. Simple gameplay that are difficult to master.As far as offering a "tycoon" experience - it delivers. It's fun, intuitive (without giving away too many hints) and manages to capture the almost esoteric qualities of honing a good wine. It's made me want to delve into the IRL world of wine.If I had a gripe, it's that I think the UX could use a little more love, and deeper mechanics. With the UI, it isn't always clear where to find things. Other aspects, like getting a loan can be confusing. Buttons lack a hover state. The wine log doesnt contain the reviewers comments. Things like that.And as far as deeper mechanics go... Well, it's a great game. I really enjoy playing it... so.. "I'd love another bottle" as they say. tl; dr; Great game. Delightfully different from other tycoon experiences. Regular price is worth, a sale would be a steal.. Beautiful Design, Updates are frequent gameplay is very relaxing, there is a great satisfaction of getting the perfect vintage and naming it after the theme you have chosen for your Vineyard. Great game !. The game has potential, but as it stands right now I can not recommend it at all. This should be below beta, at best. There is so little depth in the game play I thoroughly disappointed. I thought, if I start unlocking new stages in the game, it could pick up, but, unfortunately, it did not. The options are too limited. The game play – unfortunately even if you progress in the game! – becomes too monotonous. Overall, the game is not very exciting. Extending your chateau is not very rewarding, as the new options done add anything to the game play:(. I recommend even if I only play 1 hourbut for now I will not play more. to much repetitionI was expecting to have the ability to develop more the taste of the wine like adding fruit or chocolat.I love the minimalism setting. This game has alot of potentiel , I will keep a eye for update
